The African Queen – Spotlight Luton

Join Raynham Way for a special community screening of The African Queen,. This screening is supported by Orange Picture Club & Bute Street Festival as part of Spotlight Luton. From support of the BFI Film Audience Network, awarding funds from the National Lottery in order to bring this project to more audiences across the UK.

Whether you're a lifelong film fan, discovering classic cinema for the first time, or simply looking for a great evening out in your local community, come along and enjoy this celebrated adventure on the big screen.

About the Event

The African Queen is a classic 1951 adventure film starring Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn, following an unlikely pair as they navigate the African wilderness during the First World War.

Before the screening, we'll introduce Spotlight Luton and share more about upcoming opportunities to get involved in local film screenings, workshops, creative activities and community events.

This is a relaxed and welcoming event, and everyone is invited.
