When we gather, with intention - magic happens.

When We Gather is the third space you’ve been searching for! Finding it’s place somewhere in between the freedom & joy of nightlife and the soulful intention of church, founders Lottie & Hannah are prioritising good music, great food, and even better company to bring you the spaces they themselves were missing.

As two girls who love the sweaty dance floor whilst simultaneously revering the temple, our aim is to create spaces where genuine community needs are met, without compromising on vibes, emptying your bank account or promoting mindless drinking culture.

The space is designed to be inclusive of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, and ability. Whether you want to come alone, or with friends, you are welcome. In a world seemingly more disconnected than ever, When We Gather aims to bring the Ancient Village wisdom back to our everyday: by moving our bodies & gathering round tables for simple, delicious food, we can connect back into that which truly fills our primal cups!

Let's get a sweat on to a carefully designed sound journey starting chill, reaching a peak, and then coming back down to a fresh new baseline. No dance background necessary! This is not about looking good, or throwing shapes, but about leaving our cares at the door to receive one of the most ancient forms of medicine; movement. A phone free, no talking space.

A simple, nourishing warm meal brought to you Bloem

Grounding after the dance, melt into the ambience of the space with a warming seasonal supper. Land, slow down and break bread after all the movement - eating together is one of the most primal, almost forgotten medicines we have. The spaciousness of the room holds you, so you can be fully present with yourself, your movement, the food and each other. Let's see what happens when we truly gather…

About Lottie (Bloem) & Hannah (Love Bytes):

Lottie is a lover and devotee of cold water, movement, gezelligheid and expression. A multifaceted creative based in Brighton and always on the move, she gathers inspiration and people and weaves them together. Of Dutch-Italian heritage, she grew up with food at the centre of her family life, and it remains the heart of her work. Founder of Bloem, Lottie hosts and curates long community tables, giving people the space to slow down, break bread and share lekker eten (yummy food) together, just as we once did. Drawn from her own experiences and travels, her mission is to bring people back into connection with themselves and each other, in a time when disconnection runs deeper than ever.

Hannah is a multi-disciplinary London based Artist, Actor, Model, Writer, DJ, Music Artist & Breathwork Facilitator qualified with Alchemy of Breath. Having gone through a dark night of the soul in her early 20s, she began what was to become a brand new way of life built around Ancient Wisdom, Movement, Breath, & Quantum Mechanics. Dedicated to transmuting dark into direction, Hannah's continual mission is to facilitate the remembrance of knowledge that led her back to Joy with the world.

If you're coming from London: Hitchin is a super easy 30 minute train from St Pancras International

For directions, you can simply enter the address above. There is plenty of pay-and-display parking available within a short walk of the venue, and the space is also easily accessible by bicycle. Hitchin train station is approximately a 20-minute walk from the venue.

We’d recommend allowing yourself a little extra time to arrive, find parking and settle in before the movement begins.

All tickets purchased for this event are strictly non-refundable.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

While refunds are not available, we do offer a cancellation policy depending on notice given before the event date:
