SPECIAL ONE-OFF NIGHT FEATURING TWO FEARLESS ARTISTS EXPERIMENTING IN ELECTRONIC, JAZZ AND PROGRESSIVE MUSIC.

⭐️ ATFK:

This ‘envelope-pushing’ accordion/drums duo defy the preconceptions of what their instruments can do, breaking with tradition while tactfully adopting their folk roots as a playground for experimentation. ATFK's sound is one of both raucous energy and sympathetic intensity, combining piano accordion, percussion, synths and vocals for an unapologetic brew of colourful composition which channels influences from jazz, prog, EDM and beyond. Championed by Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone and Jamie Cullum's Jazz Show ('Unusual and really exciting'), their audacious album REPEAT FOR JOY is out now.

‘Brimming with invention and energy. Together they’re dynamite’ - The Crack

⭐️ Dirty Freud:

Dirty Freud bring live electronics wrapped in jazz melodies, creating Dirty Cinematic Electronica. Over the years they've played at UK festivals including Glastonbury, All Points East, Citadel, Boomtown, Beatherder, and across Europe. They have gained key support in his journey from Jon More of Coldcut and Ninja Tune, Rough Trade and Keep It Dirty Records.

"Dark and dirty from the depths of electro-dub comes Dirty Freud. With an infectious sound that'll get you moving." The Guardian

Both championed by Manchester Jazz Festival and Jazz North, these two dynamic acts bring you a one-off night of live collaboration in the city that first brought them together. Not to be missed!
