Ever wanted to learn woodworking but didn't know where to start? This hands-on 6 week course will teach you the practical skills needed to build a planter from start to finish.

Working alongside our experienced tutor in a fully equipped community workshop, you'll gain confidence using a range of hand and power tools, learn safe working practices, and understand the techniques involved in measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing a robust outdoor planter with a shade sail.

Rather than simply following instructions, you'll develop transferable woodworking skills that you can use for future DIY projects, home improvements and furniture making.

No previous experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn.

Each session will be 9:30 - 12:30

All the money from the course will go back into the community woodworking sessions run at the Boiler House
