theCircle is a new tech community in Manchester built on a simple idea: everyone deserves a seat at the table.

For our first event, designers, developers and the people in between share how something real actually came together. The messy version, not the polished case study. The constraint that reshaped the design. The decision nobody saw. The bit that broke, and what it taught us.

What to expect

Four short talks, twenty minutes each

Real time to talk to people, not ten awkward minutes at the end

Refreshments provided

A friendly room. Come alone, you won't be the only one

Who it's for

Engineers, designers, students, career changers, and anyone curious about tech in and around Manchester. No experience level assumed.

Getting there

Nearest tram: Etihad Campus. Parking at Grey Mare Lane car park off Alan Turing Way. If you're staying longer than 1 hour 45 minutes, ask at the library desk for a permit when you arrive. Please don't use the school car park next door.
