Blankets for Manchester | Knit & Crochet Social

Join us at the shop for a relaxed, friendly knit and crochet social in aid of Blankets for Manchester, part of the umbrella charity Craft Forward.

We’ll be coming together to make knitted and crocheted squares which will be joined into blankets for people experiencing homelessness across Greater Manchester. It’s a simple way to use your craft skills to create something practical, warm and meaningful for someone who really needs it.

Whether you’re an experienced knitter or crocheter, or just fancy spending a few hours crafting and chatting with like-minded people, everyone is welcome.

What to bring:

Bring your needles or crochet hook and some yarn to make your squares. You’re welcome to use your own yarn, or we’ll have more information in the shop about suitable yarns and square sizes.

Come along, get creative, meet fellow crafters and help us make a difference, one square at a time. ❤️
