Join us after hours on Thursday 1 October for ‘The Creation of Clobber Fest’ – an evening of sparking collaboration and conversation at our October session of The Social Studio!

This month’s activity will be ‘Creating Clobber Fest’ - an innovative and colourful opportunity to create feature pieces for our upcoming fashion event, ‘Clobber Fest’. Through the use of second-hand materials, you will play an integral role in supporting Emmaus Mossley raise awareness about the textile industry. We’ll provide fabric, markers, materials and paints for you to let your creativity flow and make your message loud!

Our fashion focused event, ‘Clobber Fest’, will take place exactly one week after The Social Studio, on Thursday 8 October. Your creations from the session will then be used as props and display features during our fashion exhibition.

You don’t need to be an existing activist to take part in our session - the aim of the evening is to try something new, relax, meet new people and spread awareness.

Limited tickets are available to purchase and are priced at £3. We’ll provide all the equipment and encouragement you will need… all you need to bring is yourself! To keep you fueled, Lucie’s Café will be serving hot drinks, soft drinks and snacks during the event.

The Social Studio’s next event will take place on Thursday 1 October, 6:30pm – 8pm, at the Emmaus Mossley Secondhand Superstore, Longlands Mill, Queen Street, Mossley, OL5 9AH. Please note that this event is 18+.
