About This Event

DeProfundis will take to the stage at the Star & Garter in Manchester on Sunday, 18 October 2026, with doors opening at 8pm. The band’s live performance draws upon heavy, atmospheric soundscapes, weaving dense guitar work together with slow-building, immersive passages that gradually unfurl over the course of the set. The venue’s basement room offers an appropriately intimate setting, one well suited to the group’s brooding and expansive style, where the weight of the music can fill the space without losing its sense of closeness. Tickets are priced at £12, providing an affordable entry point for an evening of deeply textured and enveloping sound. This is a chance to experience a live act that understands the power of restraint and release, building tension through layered instrumentation before allowing the noise to crest and subside. Those familiar with the band’s recorded output can expect a heightened, more visceral interpretation of their material in this confined environment. It promises to be a compelling night for anyone drawn to the darker, more contemplative edges of heavy music, delivered in a setting that amplifies every detail.
