About This Event

A day out with the girls, with a twist! We aim to connect Muslim women across the North-West through a variety of social activities in and around Manchester, within a safe and supportive environment. Adult women of all ages, ethnicities, nationalities, academic backgrounds, occupations, marital statuses, dress styles and personal Islamic practices, etc., are welcome. You may also join if you are non-Muslim and female; we just ask that you are respectful of diverse religious beliefs and cultures. Zombie Uprising is a "thrilling and immersive" surivival experience "inspired by the popular zombie apocalypse genre". "The rising threat of the Zombie Uprising started somewhere, that place is believed to have been located. Vira-Tech Pharmaceuticals have been under surveillance for some time by Z.E.U.S. The time to strike is now. But are we too late? Based on the borders of Manchester, The LAB is a massive pharmaceutical lab. It is now up to (us) to work (our) way through this specially constructed venue to complete a very important mission. Failure is not an option. (Our) mission is to save the lives of 2.8 million people by not letting Vira-Tech Pharmaceuticals' work continue. There is more than the zombies to worry about, but all further information is classified until you arrive at The Lab on location and greeted by Z.E.U.S. Will you survive? There's only one way to find out..." If you're interested in joining and want to travel together from Manchester City Centre, please meet at Piccadilly Bus Station, Stop D, no later than 12:45 on 12th September 2026. Please also let me know in advance that you will be joining by bus, so that I know to wait for you. If you would prefer to meet at the venue, please arrive by 13:50.
