Flawed Mangoes is the musical project of Boston-based artist and producer Evan Lo. Blending ambient soundscapes, hypnotic guitar melodies and elements of post-rock, shoegaze and electronica, his music creates a deeply atmospheric and cinematic sound. After finding a huge online audience through tracks such as “The Beginning” and “Killswitch Lullaby,” Flawed Mangoes has become closely associated with the internet’s ‘hopecore’ movement. His immersive live performances bring these emotionally charged instrumentals to life, shifting effortlessly between moments of quiet reflection and soaring intensity.
