Funke and the Two Tone Baby is a truly unique artiste. Designing music on a machine of his own creation whilst playing a genre and sound that is totally his own. Jammed between off-kilter garage beats with a flash of hip-hop, and high energy alternative blues with a dose of funk, is a whirling blur of glitches, big drops and jump up choruses. It’s Fatboy Slim meets The White Stripes via LCD Soundsystem and a smattering of IDLES to boot. In February 2027, Funke returns with his 5th studio album ‘Greebling’. ’Greebling’ is the process of adding detail to increase the appearance of complexity and this new iteration of Funke promises to be more detailed and more complex than ever before. With the new album featuring guest appearances from Beans on Toast and Samantics, and once again produced by Dutty Moonshine Big Band's production genius, ‘Binge’, Funke’s 5th LP stands head and shoulders above anything he has done so far on his long and dedicated music career.

The new record contains all the elements of blues, electronica and ferocity that Funke’s been evolving for the last 15 years, but distils it further down with tighter production, a fuller embrace of dance music culture and an ever-growing arsenal of instruments and repertoire. Trading an acoustic guitar for an electric, this new direction cuts through a pulsating desk of synths, drum machines, harmonicas and boundless energy, to create a wall of sound you can’t believe one man can make.
