Join iCAN Manchester, Kennedys and Tysers this Black History Month for Manchester Leadership Breakfast: Black Leaders Building the Future of Insurance, a practical and honest conversation about career progression, leadership, visibility and how the industry can create stronger pathways for Black talent.

Bringing together Black professionals from across the insurance industry, the session will explore the experiences, barriers and opportunities that can shape progression from early career through to management and senior leadership.

Our panel will share their own career journeys and discuss the role of confidence, mentorship, sponsorship and professional networks, alongside what leaders and organisations can do to help Black talent build visibility, access opportunity and progress.

This event is for professionals at all career stages, from early-career talent through to senior leaders, as well as managers, mentors, sponsors, ERG members, HR and DEI professionals and allies who want to support the progression of Black talent across insurance.

As the industry looks to strengthen leadership pipelines and retain diverse talent, this session will focus on what helps people progress in practice, not just in principle.
