Join us for an afternoon of Kinusaiga , the art of creating pictures with fabric scraps that requires no sewing.

A hands‑on Kinusaiga Workshop on Friday the 16th of October at The Old Levenshulme Library.

Come create your very own textured Kinusaiga artwork while learning this beautiful Japanese craft, where patterned fabrics are cut, tucked and shaped into mosaic style designs.

You’ll explore different colours, textures and patterns so you can experiment, play, and make a piece that feels unique to you using upcycled fabrics.

We’ll have plenty of materials on hand from soft patterned textiles and bold colour palettes to a selection of tools that make the process calm, meditative and easy to learn. You’ll have everything you need to craft a panel you’ll love.

You'll leave the workshop with a finished piece of art ready to frame, hang or gift.
