A Workshop with Donald Shek

Saturday 5th December

3-5pm

£5 per person – Sign up now

Explore memories, connection and belonging through a creative workshop with artist Donald Shek.

Through tracing, drypoint etching, collage and digital transformation, you’ll explore the spaces between us and reflect on moments of connection beyond the familiar, inspired by British East Asian and South East Asian social spaces where connecting with others sometimes meant taking a leap of faith.

Through conversation, tracing, dry-point etching and optional digital scanning, these memories will collectively created and shared within the Dance With Me exhibition space.

What to bring

Bring a photograph or object that reminds you of a moment of curiosity or discovery, or a time when you took a leap of faith and connected with people you didn’t know.

No previous experience is needed – just curiosity and a willingness to create. All are welcome!
