About This Event

The year is 1945, and Beatrice is perfectly content avoiding romance at her Aunt Leonata’s jazz bar, drinking, smoking, and teaching her cousin Hero how *not* to be a respectable young woman. When the men return from war, Bea couldn’t care less. She’s not interested in settling down or playing nice... Especially not with Benedick, an old rival who seems intent on arguing with her at every opportunity he gets. But as vicious gossip spreads and an innocent woman's future hangs in the balance, Beatrice refuses to stay silent. As she confronts the injustice head-on, Benedick must learn that earning her trust - and maybe even her heart - will be no easy feat. Following two sold-out shows at The Kings Arms, Sparrowfall proudly presents its third reimagining of a beloved Shakespearean classic: 'Much Ado About Nothing!' Note: 1940s fancy dress welcomed, but not required!
