About This Event

A screening of the National Emergency Briefing film will be held at the Carlton Club in Manchester on 28 October 2026. The 50-minute film addresses climate and nature breakdown and its implications for health, food systems and national security. Attendance is free and the screening includes a discussion component.

This is not your average film nite.

This film is about the crisis in nature and climate.

It's not an easy watch, but it will show you what you need to know.

Come and see the film, stay and talk, work out what we can do to help.

Time's up. It's up to us.

"Last November, ten of the UK’s leading experts briefed an invited audience of over 1,200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media.

The briefing set out the implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy."

"A 50-minute film is now taking the message into communities across the UK, and beyond. Screenings in village halls, cinemas, faith spaces and workplaces are bringing constituents, civic leaders and MPs together to hear the evidence - and consider what an emergency response should look like."

Please sign the petition linked here . There are over 69,000,000 of us. Only 121,000 so far (09.09.2026) have signed.
