The New Adelphi Comedy Night  is back for another night of improv, stand-up and more! In the first half, professional improvisers from the award-winning  Totally Improvised Company  and student guests will get the night going with gags and games inspired by your suggestions. In the second half, the stage is yours for an open mic with stand-up, songs, sketches or whatever funny business you want to try! The Totally Improvised Company have been entertaining audiences across the UK and beyond since 2001 with their quick-witted brand of gags, games, sketches and songs inspired by your suggestions. They also run regular workshops in improv and stand-up. Featuring several Salford alumni, this team of improvisers and stand-up comedians can’t wait to share the stage with the future faces of UK comedy!

Pay What You Can is an ‘honesty box’ for the theatre. We and the artists will continue to programme and produce high quality events and ask you to pay what you can afford.

As a guide, for those in full time employment we would appreciate you paying £7-£10. We also understand people's income can be precarious, hence the lower price options. All revenue from ticket sales for events at New Adelphi Theatre will always go back to support professional artists, through residencies, commissions, touring work or for more bespoke projects where the student experience is enhanced through co-creation with arts professionals. We thank you for all your continued support.
