Come and join award-winning Australian singer-songwriter Peter Vadiveloo as he celebrates a night of songs about social justice, the environment, climate action, politics and love - all the good stuff! This gig is the last of Peter's 2026 UK Tour. The Glossop Labour Club is lovely intimate venue with great ales, and this concert is part of the ´Love Music Hate Racism´ program. Known for his distinctive combination of folk, roots, funk and blues, Peter’s songs address social justice, and political and environmental issues. He has the rare ability to create a performance that is both highly entertaining and thought-provoking. In 2025, Peter completed his first solo tour of the UK, and returns in 2026. Hiis song ‘Manus’ won a bronze medal at the Global Music Awards in 2023, and in 2024 he impressed audiences at Woodford Folk Festival, Australia’s largest music festival (100,000 people). Peter’s diverse musical background spans rock, pop, jazz, funk, blues, opera, comedy cabaret and flamenco, all of which inform his dynamic live performance. His commanding vocals, high-level guitar skills and percussion mastery come together to engage audiences in a way few artists can. Either solo or with his bands, Peter has played literally hundreds of shows at countless festivals in Australia and overseas.
