Salvador Sobral live in Manchester

Few voices can silence a room the way Salvador Sobral’s can. The Lisbon-born singer brings his band to New Century Hall for an unforgettable night of music.

Expect a concert that feels personal and spontaneous: delicate ballads, swinging jazz, bossa nova grooves and moments of pure improvisation, sung in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Salvador is as charming on stage as he is moving, and no two of his shows are ever the same.

Set in one of Manchester’s most iconic venues, with its restored 1960s hall and sprung dance floor, this is a rare chance to see one of Portugal’s most distinctive artists up close.

Perfect for fans of: Chet Baker, Caetano Veloso, Jorge Drexler, António Zambujo.

And yes, it’s that Salvador: the Eurovision 2017 winner whose “Amar pelos dois” captured hearts all over Europe. Grab your tickets early. This is one you’ll want to tell people about.
