Join us for a cosy gathering to dive into Rope by Patrick Hamilton at our Scripted Social - Play Exploration Group for October! Scripted Social - Play Exploration Group (October's Read) We invite you along to 53Two Studio in Manchester for our October play exploration group session ran by Natalie Beech who is a creative facilitator and director! Join us on 31st October, 2026 at 10:00 AM to dive into our selected script which for this month is Rope by Patrick Hamilton! Let's gather together, share our thoughts, and enjoy the magic of theatre in a safe, communal setting. No acting experience required, just bring your enthusiasm and love for the stage! Our morning is spent reading the plays and in the afternoon, we play around with some of the scenes in a relaxed, loose rehearsal setting! See you there! Rope by Patrick Hamilton Believing themselves to be intellectually superior to their contemporaries, two flatmates murder their friend purely to see if they can get away with it. They then throw a cocktail party, serving food from the top of the trunk where they have hidden his body. Tension and suspicions increase as the evening wears on.
