Are you feeling called to learn how to use the power of drumming, chanting and voice to guide others on a journey of self-discovery, emotional exploration, and deep inner awareness?

This workshop is an invitation to explore the connection between rhythm, voice, vibration, brainwave states, consciousness, intention and the subconscious mind , while learning how to safely and compassionately facilitate drum journeys for individuals and groups.

🥁 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

🌊 The Power of Frequency, Rhythm & Brainwaves

Explore different Hertz frequencies and their relationship to brainwave activity, relaxation, focused awareness and inner exploration.

Learn how rhythmic drumming can support a meditative experience and how to work with different rhythms throughout a journey.

🎶 Chanting, Voice & Vibration

Explore the use of chanting, toning, vocal sounds and repetition as tools for grounding, focus and intentional practice.

Discover how the human voice can work alongside the drum to create rhythm, resonance and a deeper sense of presence.

You will have the opportunity to explore simple chants and vocal practices that can be incorporated into a drum journey, while respecting individual comfort, cultural context and personal boundaries.

🌿 Accessing the Subconscious

Explore how drumming, chanting, intention and guided awareness may help participants connect with inner imagery, memories, emotions and personal insights.

Learn how to create a supportive environment where people can explore their inner world at their own pace.

💫 Guiding Emotional Release

Discover ways to hold space for people who may experience emotions, memories or physical sensations during a drum journey.

Explore approaches to supporting emotional processing without forcing release or assuming that every bodily sensation represents stored trauma.

🤍 Trauma-Informed Facilitation

Develop an understanding of trauma-informed language and compassionate communication.

Learn how to speak with individuals and groups before, during and after a journey, including:

✨ How to create a sense of safety and choice.

✨ How to offer grounding and supportive language.

✨ How to recognise when someone may feel overwhelmed.

✨ How to support participants without judgement, pressure or re-traumatisation.

✨ How to introduce chanting and vocal practices in a way that respects consent and individual boundaries.

✨ How to work respectfully in both 1-to-1 and group settings.

🌙 LEARN TO HOLD SPACE

This is an opportunity to develop your confidence as a drum journey facilitator, learning not only how to play the drum and work with the voice, but how to be present with others as they explore their own experiences.

You will explore the importance of boundaries, consent, personal agency and cultural respect , as well as knowing when additional professional support may be needed.

You don’t need to be an experienced drummer or singer to attend.

Whether you’re beginning your journey or looking to deepen your existing practice, this workshop invites you to learn, experience and develop your facilitation skills .
