A full-day and night Exchange bringing together the leaders and decision-makers shaping the future of health and social care.
THE NORTH-WEST CARE EXCHANGE 2026A full-day Exchange bringing together the leaders and decision-makers shaping the future of health and social care — from substantive daytime conversations to a premium black-tie evening of leadership, conversation and connection.
In August 2026, the inaugural North-West Care Exchange brought together owners, directors, commissioners, clinicians, providers and sector partners for a defining day of leadership, conversation and connection.
On 28 November, the Exchange returns.
This time, we are creating a full-day experience designed around the conversations health and social care leaders need to be having now — while deliberately bringing perspectives from beyond the sector into the room.
The day will explore leadership, business, regulation, workforce, transformation and the wider forces shaping the future of health and social care.
Then, as the formal daytime programme concludes, The Exchange Dinner begins: a premium black-tie evening creating space for dinner, carefully curated introductions, leadership conversations and meaningful connection.
Guests can join us for the Day Exchange, the Exchange Dinner, or experience the full programme with a Combined Ticket.
PART I — THE DAY EXCHANGE
Leadership. Business. Regulation. Transformation.
The daytime Exchange is designed for substance.
Through moderated conversations, specialist perspectives and audience discussion, we will bring leaders from across health and social care together with voices from regulation, government, business, technology and the wider professional ecosystem.
Our proposed programme will explore areas including:
BUILDING RESILIENT ORGANISATIONS
Finance, tax, legal structures, governance, property, diversification and the strategic decisions involved in building sustainable organisations.
REGULATION, QUALITY AND OUTCOMES
Conversations exploring the evolving regulatory landscape across adult and children’s social care, quality beyond minimum compliance and how providers, commissioners and regulators can contribute to better experiences and outcomes.
WORKFORCE, IMMIGRATION AND EMPLOYER RESPONSIBILITY
A practical look at the changing workforce and immigration environment, responsible recruitment, employer responsibilities and longer-term workforce planning.
AI, LEADERSHIP AND ORGANISATIONAL TRANSFORMATION
Looking beyond the technology itself to explore what AI-driven transformation means for leaders, people, organisations, culture and the future of work.
LEADERSHIP, RESILIENCE AND THE FUTURE
Perspectives from beyond health and social care on leading through uncertainty, transformation, strategic decision-making and building organisations capable of delivering sustainable outcomes for the future.
The programme is currently in development. Contributors, session content and timings remain subject to confirmation, and the final agenda will be circulated closer to the event.
PART II — THE EXCHANGE DINNER
Formal Black Tie | 7:00 p.m. – Midnight
Following the substantive daytime programme, the pace changes.
The Exchange Dinner is deliberately less formal in structure — creating space for dinner, carefully curated introductions and conversations between leaders from across health and social care, public service and the wider professional ecosystem.
THE EXCHANGE HOUR
A welcome reception designed for more than exchanging business cards. Guests will be thoughtfully introduced across organisations, disciplines and perspectives, creating opportunities for purposeful conversation before dinner begins.
DINNER & LEADERSHIP CONVERSATIONS
A premium black-tie dinner accompanied by a carefully considered programme of leadership, conversation and reflection.
THE ROOM AFTER THE ROOM
As the formal programme concludes, the Exchange continues.
Music. Conversation. Connection. Professional photography. And the opportunity to continue the conversations and relationships that began throughout the day.
