Plant Power Kitchen: food, community & conversation with Japanese menu + relaxed chat on plant-based living.

An Indian-Inspired Evening

Join us for an immersive evening of plant-based food, culture, and connection as The Plant Power Kitchen continues its journey — this time exploring the rich flavours, traditions, and diversity of Indian-inspired cuisine.

This is more than a dining experience. It is an opportunity to come together, share great food, and discover how plant-based eating has long been woven into cultures and traditions around the world.

Across the series so far, we've journeyed through Mediterranean, Thai, Ital Rasta and Japanese -inspired menus, with each evening opening up conversations about food, culture, and consciousness. One of the most interesting themes has been the word vegan itself — a modern term created by The Vegan Society — and how many cultures and spiritual traditions have embraced predominantly plant-based ways of eating for generations without needing a label.

India offers one of the world's richest culinary traditions of plant-based cooking. Across its many regions, vegetables, lentils, beans, grains, herbs, and spices have been transformed into vibrant, nourishing dishes for centuries. Whether inspired by cultural traditions, seasonal eating, or everyday family cooking, Indian cuisine celebrates flavour, generosity, and the power of simple ingredients.

What to Expect

On the night, guests will enjoy a beautifully curated Indian-inspired plant-based menu, showcasing bold spices, colourful ingredients, and authentic flavours. Every dish has been carefully prepared to highlight the incredible variety and depth of plant-based Indian cuisine.

Guests do not cook — simply arrive, relax, and enjoy a fully prepared dining experience in a welcoming and informal setting.

Menu:

Tandoori Tofu Kebab with Chilli and Mint Yoghurt Sauce, Red Onions, and Crisp Iceberg Lettuce.

Mushroom Matar Masala with Spicy New Potatoes

A Community Experience

The Plant Power Kitchen is about more than food. It is about creating shared experiences that bring people together in a relaxed, inclusive environment — whether you are plant-based, plant-curious, or simply interested in exploring new flavours and cultures.

These evenings have been made possible thanks to the incredible support of MSV Housing, whose openness and encouragement have helped bring these ideas to life in a meaningful way.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
