Join the Portico Kitchen team for a series of unique dining experiences in one of the city’s most extraordinary settings.

The Portico Kitchen is Manchester’s oldest lunch spot, and we are pleased to expand our offer into dinner service. Enjoy excellent food made with the very best seasonal produce, served on an intimate scale in the serenity of the Portico Library Reading Room.

Each evening, 12 diners will be served two full courses prepared inhouse by the kitchen that produces ‘one of Manchester’s nicest lunches’ (Manchester Evening News) and one small course featuring snacks, appetisers, confections, or desserts produced by the local companies that make Manchester one of the best places to eat in Britain.

Tickets are extremely limited, so move quickly when they are released!

Please note that tickets for this event are strictly limited to twelve, and a maximum of four per customer, and sell quickly. If you would like to book multiple tickets, we advise you to do so in one transaction as we cannot guarantee that tickets will remain available for the other members of your party.

Menus are at the chef’s discretion. We will accommodate dietary requirements wherever possible, but we cannot cater for preferences – we ask you to trust in us and our food. Please advise of any requirements at the time of your booking.
