About This Event

A two-day event in Manchester on 16 November 2026 at Methodist Central Hall, bringing together justice system voices to discuss ideas for systemic change. The gathering falls under the business category and has ticket prices ranging from £109.05 to £130.72.

This two-day gathering brings together voices from across the justice system to share ideas and action for change.

The Restoration Revolution is a movement of ideas and action convened by Oasis in partnership with SHiFT.

For too long, public conversation about justice has been polarised, dominated by punishment, shame, and division. But scratch below the surface, there is growing recognition that we cannot harm to heal.

Across four days in Manchester and London, people from across the justice community will gather: people who work for justice institutions, people who have been subject to the justice system, and everyone seeking to change it through policy, practice, research, leadership, advocacy and the arts.

Our gathering will connect and energise a vibrant community that is reimagining and rewiring our justice system. Together we will create a compelling vision for criminal justice that pushes policy and practice change, and begins with children and young people.

Speakers, workshops, creative arts and more

First speakers just announced, including Father Gregory Boyle and Homeboy Industries - as well as Dr Gwen Adshead, Jacob Dunne, Judy Khan KC, and Rev Steve Chalke. More contributors will be announced soon.

Come and join the movement and shape a new Manifesto for Justice.

We can’t do this without you.

Take part: call for contributions

We hope you’ll be excited to join us and will spread the word about the gathering so that others join too. We also want to shape the programme with and from contributions across the diverse criminal justice community. This is not a traditional conference; it is a movement of ideas and action. And this is not a call for papers; it is a call for contributions.

We're looking for workshops (1 hour) around specific themes, as well as 10-minute 'Big Pitch' contributions. Have you got a big idea to share, a project to propose, or research to spotlight? We'd love to hear from you. Find out more and details of how to apply on our dedicated submissions portal.
