Eye’s Type Tuesday heads north for an early evening event at the David Crow Lecture Theatre, Lowry Building, Manchester School of Art , MMU, Manchester The line-up includes Malcolm Garrett, Craig Oldham, Stanley Chow, Katy Cowan, Yas Banks and Jessica Lee with two more to be announced soon. Note: the panel can’t talk about their own logos! Type Tuesday is Eye ’s regular bash for everyone interested in graphic design, typography, type design, photography, illustration and visual culture, an event we have been hosting for more than a decade in London (and occasionally further afield). Doors open 5.30pm. There will be a pop-up shop selling the latest issue, Eye 110, plus bargain back issues. Type Tuesday North is a collaboration between SEA Design, Manchester Metropolitan University and Eye Magazine Ltd. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
