Zine Club Manchester is set for 25 November 2026 at SEESAW, providing a social space for zine-making enthusiasts. Participants can work on current projects, start new ones, or explore zines from a pop-up library. The event encourages collaboration and skill-sharing among attendees of all experience levels.
A zine making social! Come and work on a current project, start something new, have a chat, or read zines from our pop-up library.
Zine Club Manchester is a space where anyone can read, make zines, collaborate, be shown what a zine is and how to make one, work on an existing project, or ask more seasoned zine-makers any practical questions. This month's theme is currently being decided - check back for annoucements on this!
✏️ Zine Club is not a guided zine workshop - it's a social space to make and enjoy zines! But we are more than happy to share skills and answer any zine-making questions you have. You are welcome no matter your experience level with zine making, including curious beginners.
✏️Pop up zine library from Salford Zine Library! We'll be bringing along a selection spooky and horror zines for you to browse and read.
✏️ Some materials and equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring along anything you might want to use. Donations of materials to the communal stash, including collage material is very encouraged. Ticket donations also help us cover the costs of new equipment, materials, and other costs of running Zine Club.
✏️ Free tickets are for people on a low income and are limited - all other tickets are pay-what-you-can.
✏️ Zine trades are very encouraged. Bring along some of your zines and grab a sticker to show you're up for trading.
✏️ Zine Club is every last Wednesday of the month (note: no club in December). Drop in anytime between 6-8pm (SEESAW is open before the event if you wish to arrive early).
✏️ Access: SEESAW is a wheelchair accessible venue with step free access via lifts and has an accessible toilet. Toilets are gender neutral. Drinks (including alcohol) are available to purchase. You may bring along food and snacks if desired. There will be quiet background music.
The front entrance is a sliding automatic door down the cobbled side street, which does have a non-cobbled pavement. Please note that due to the nature of the building being Grade 2 Listed, some floor surfaces may be uneven.
A sensory map of the space, regulation aids and ear defenders are available from the reception.
There is no car parking, but there are nearby car parks which SEESAW can signpost you to. Oxford Road Station is approx. 5 minute walk, Piccadilly Station is approx. 10 minute walk and bus stops are located nearby depending on the service.
