**Walk Leader:** Bryn C **Date:** Saturday 14th November **Distance:** 8 miles **Difficulty:** Moderate **Start Time:** 10.30am **Finish Time:** 3.00pm (Approx) **Capacity:** 12 people **Meeting** **Point**: Elm Tree Inn, Station Road, Scarcliffe, Chesterfield, S44 6TH **What 3 Words:** backward.birthing.anguished **Walk Description:** Starting at Elm Tree Inn Pub (S44 6TH), we make our way through Langwith woods and head over to Palterton. There are a few paths and woodlands to walk through, before we circle around to Bolsover and then onto Bolsover Castle. We can stop at the café here and do the tour of the castle. We should be able to get a group discount, but we will work this out on the day. Once we’re done looking around the castle and its gardens, it’s back to The Elm Tree. **Parking**: There is parking on Station Road or nearby The Elm Tree. **Public Transport:** Please note there is no public transport to the walk start. If you can give lifts or need a lift, please post in the comments on Meetup. The drive to Scarcliffe is approximately 30 mins from Sheffield town centre. **Be prepared:** Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water. Please bring sun protection if required (sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream, etc).
