Healthy, freshly-cooked food from local surplus ingredients + surplus groceries by donation. Every Sunday, just outside 101! Heartwarming soups, curries and stews served with rice, hearty pasta bakes, bruschettas, pakoras, couscous or grilled polenta with a side of salad, tzatziki, roast veggies and more. And of course, bread, cake, tea, coffee, fresh smoothies, and dessert! Also, help yourself with wonky but still perfectly good surplus groceries donated locally. Nourish your body and soul, and keep your budget healthy, too! ph: We just added Nonna Mirella’s sweet & sour carrots to the menu, and they’re already a favourite! All veg with vegan and gluten-free options. Eat in or to go, by donation. For last Sunday’s meal, we’d like to thank Margate Food Centre, Northdown Road Family Hub , Windmill Community Gardens, and EHIS, plus ALDI, LIDL, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose via the MICommunity shops. #cliftonvillecommunitykitchen #zerowaste #circulareconomy #gifteconomy
