The Woolverstones are a British pastoral avant-garde outfit. Produced by Nick Drake’s legendary engineer John Wood, their debut album Grey Eyed Dandy earned BBC acclaim, while their debut single won praise from members of The Byrds. Fiercely independent, they play 70+ European dates a year – recently supporting Inspiral Carpets and Malcolm Le Maistre (The Incredible String Band). Seamlessly bridging traditional roots and alt-folk experimentation, The Woolverstones have supported diverse icons ranging from indie legends Inspiral Carpets to freak-folk pioneer Malcolm Le Maistre ( The Incredible String Band ).
