We invite you to join us at Middlesbrough Town Hall for 30 Seconds Over Middlesbrough, a screening programme curated by Anne Colvin.

The fourth in an iterative series; 30 seconds over Edinburgh was an exhibition, 30 seconds over Danforth was a lecture, 30 seconds over Glasgow a poem. Now Middlesbrough, a screening framed within the poetic space.

A gathering of intergenerational film artists inspired by and who write poetry. Work that speaks to a sense of place, to coming up against the frame, the edge. The body as site of integrity. Being and becoming.

Films by Kerry Baldry, Anne Colvin, Sky Hopinka, Sandra Lahire, Julian Micallef, Saundra Pearl Sharp & Margaret Tait. with poetry readings from Anne Colvin and Zainab Aboharoon. The evening also marks the launch of Anne’s chapbook, Marble thoughts at 24 frames per second.
