Light Concert has grown into a vibrant community platform, connecting people globally through worship & creative engagement.

Teesside is home to people from many nations, cultures, and backgrounds who continue to contribute positively to local churches, businesses, education, healthcare, music, food, arts, and wider community life. This diversity is particularly evident in Middlesbrough, where Census 2021 data shows that 12.29% of residents were born outside the UK, the highest proportion in the Tees Valley.

In response to this growing diversity, IGNITE Community Interest Company uses Light Concert as a community engagement platform to bring people together across cultures, churches, generations, and backgrounds
