An art exhibition and talk to raise awareness for International End Violence Against Sex Workers Day

FlowerClownDesign is the monthly Artist in Focus at Hartlepool Art Gallery. She will be exhibiting her MA project which explored online sex work, why people were drawn to it, and what safety measures should be considered. The project was illustrated and turned into a zine, which will be available at the preview night, and turned into exhibition pieces.

As part of International End Violence Against Sex Workers Day, she has asked National Ugly Mugs (a national charity and safety organisation dedicated to protecting sex workers) to get involved and provide a talk dedicated to the day and they have provided some exhibition pieces and infomational leaflets.

There will be refreshments available and the event is free.

Come along to the preview night as a way to raise awareness through art and information and find out ways you can get involved. This is open to anyone who is interested!
