Tees Valley's Digital Community Roundtable will focus on the needs of the digital community in Tees Valley and explore engagement strategies with the wider North. The roundtable is scheduled for 22 October 2026 at Victoria Road in Middlesbrough and is free to attend.
A roundtable on the needs of a digital community in Tees Valley, how our teams can benefit, and how we could engage with the wider North.
Tees Valley has plenty of digital talent, ambitious businesses and organisations working to support them. But is there a community that brings them together? And if there isn't, what would one need to offer to be worth people's time?
This roundtable is a chance to answer that together. We're not bringing a ready-made plan. We want to hear from the people who would shape a community like this and get the most from it. The roundable will take place under Chatham House Rule.
What we'll discuss
What a Tees Valley digital community needs to offer, and what already exists that it could be built on rather than duplicated
How your teams and businesses could benefit, from talent and skills to collaboration, shared knowledge and visibility
How Tees Valley can connect with, and add to, the wider North's digital and tech networks
What a practical first step looks like, and who's willing to help take it
The conversation builds on themes from the Tees Valley Digital Innovation Survey. Embeddable commissioned this independent research into how innovation is seen and supported across the area.
