Join us for breakfast and networking with local business owners at our Tees River Community monthly meeting in Thornaby.

Builders of Business is an independent networking community for Teesside and North Yorkshire. Each of our groups is made up of local owners and decision-makers who want to build real relationships, share opportunities and help each other grow. We have a no conflict of interest policy for members, so nobody is competing with you for work at the table.

What to expect

The meeting runs for about an hour. We start with breakfast, refreshments and introductions, so everyone gets a chance to share who they are and what they do. Next, a guest speaker gives a short talk followed by a Q&A, with practical ideas you can take back to your business. After a quick coffee break, we move to an open round-table conversation, where you can ask questions, share challenges and get to know the people in the room. We finish with updates on upcoming events, new groups and campaigns.

Who should come?

Business owners, self-employed people and decision-makers from any industry. Whether you've been trading for twenty years or twenty days, you'll be made welcome.

Coming as a guest

You don't need to be a member to attend. Guests are welcome up to three times a year, so you can get a real feel for the group before deciding whether to join.
