📌 About this event:

The Milton Keynes Film Jam is a collaborative weekend filmmaking event for adults aged 16+ where actors, writers, directors, filmmakers, producers, editors, DOPs, sound crew, and creatives come together to create one short film (under 15 minutes). Starting with a theme or prompt, participants work together to develop an idea, plan the production, and complete the film within the event timeframe.

The main shoot takes place between 1 AUG - 1 OCT 2026, with development, production, and post-production all happening as part of the same fast-paced, collaborative creative process. Everyone contributes their skills, with the focus on creativity, teamwork, and enjoying the filmmaking experience together.

Participants are solely responsible for their own equipment, belongings, and personal property at all times. The Organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to such items under any circumstances. Participants are also responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to take part in the Event and that they comply with all relevant laws, venue rules, and safety instructions provided during the Event. Any failure to comply may result in removal from the Event at the discretion of the Organisers.
