On Saturday 14th November, MK11 plays host to Very Beautiful South — the UK’s premier tribute to The Beautiful South and the songwriting genius of Paul Heaton and David Rotheray.

Between 1989 and 2006, The Beautiful South racked up an astonishing 20 UK Top-30 hits, with classic chart-toppers like:

🏆 A Little Time (UK No. 1)

🎶 Perfect 10

🍺 Rotterdam

🍷 Old Red Eyes Is Back

✨ Good As Gold

💍 Don’t Marry Her

Not to mention their multi-platinum Greatest Hits album, Carry On Up The Charts, which dominated the UK Top 30 for the whole of 1995 and sold nearly 2 million copies!

Formed by a dedicated crew of lifelong fans and top-tier musicians, Very Beautiful South capture every ounce of the original band's infectious energy, warm wit, and iconic dual harmonies. From quirky lyrics to undeniable sing-along anthems, this is a pitch-perfect journey straight back to the golden era of Hull's alternative pop-rock scene.

Whether you're reliving your favorite soundtrack of the 90s or looking for a fantastic night out packed with back-to-back hits, this show is guaranteed to get the room singing every word.
