Celebrate Samhain in the Heartlands with a curated Lough Ree Distillery Irish Whiskey tasting, paired with local cheese and chocolate.

As part of the Samhain in the Heartlands celebrations, Lough Ree Distillery return to Montgomery's Whiskey Bar, Dominick St, Mullingar for an Irish Whiskey, Cheese and Chocolate Tasting on Thursday 22nd October 2026 at 8:00 pm.

This curated tasting brings together carefully selected whiskeys from Lough Ree Distillery with locally produced artisan cheeses from Barbavilla Dairy(Collinstown) and handcrafted chocolates from An Olivia (Mullingar).

The tasting will be hosted by Michael Clancy, Co-Founder of Lough Ree Distillery.

There will be 6 whiskies in total and there will be the opportunity to purchase bottles on the night.

Whiskey samples will be approx 20ml in size.

Tickets EUR30, seated event.

Out of consideration for other attendees, please arrive in good time- the event will kick off at 8:00pm sharp.

Over 18's only. We encourage guests to drink responsibly and not to drive after consuming alcohol.
