A day of connection, curiosity & rediscovery. Fresh perspectives, meaningful conversations, laughter and a little magic.

Wednesday 13 January 2027

Grand Hotel Gosforth Park, Newcastle upon Tyne

9.30 am arrival | 10 am start | Main programme until 3 pm

What happens when we step beyond the pages of a book and into the stories we're still living?

Join Jane A Anderson, founder of Journey With Janey, for a day of meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives, laughter, learning and connection.

Inspired by Jane's fourth book, Live Your Season, Beyond the Book is about much more than a book celebration.

Throughout the day, five wonderful contributors will invite you to explore different perspectives through short, engaging sessions and experiences.

There'll be time to pause, reflect, meet new people and enjoy afternoon tea together.

Bring along a favourite book or quote. It might just spark a conversation you weren't expecting.

Whether you're navigating change, rediscovering a part of yourself or simply curious about what the day might bring, you're warmly invited.

Your ticket includes:

- Five contributor sessions and experiences

- Afternoon tea-style lunch

- Refreshments and time to connect

- A little something to take away

Tickets: Early Bird: £35 + Eventbrite booking fee (until 31 October 2026)

Standard: £45 + Eventbrite booking fee (from 1 November 2026).

The main programme finishes at 3 pm, with optional closing reflections, book signing and farewells afterwards. The event concludes by 4 pm.

Come as you are. Leave with a new connection, a different perspective and perhaps another chapter of your own story.
