Join us for our second meet-up of interesting, thought-provoking and controversial conversations! 🤗 🗳️ How it works: •Everyone submits one controversial question via an online poll on the night. (It helps to think of your question beforehand!) •Everyone upvotes the five questions they most want to discuss. •The five questions with the most votes are selected for discussion •We’ll go around the group to hear everyone’s opinions and perspectives. You’re always welcome to pass on a question if you’d rather not answer. A few ground rules ✌🏻 ⏰ Share the floor: Please keep your contributions to around a couple of minutes, so everyone gets a chance to speak. Last time we spent an hour on the first question alone😅, so this time we’re aiming for a maximum of around 30 mins per question, this can only be done if everyone is mindful of the time when speaking. Please avoid dominating the conversation or going off on lengthy 5 minute tangents! (There’ll be time for more relaxed chats afterwards for those who want to stay after it finishes.) 🤝 Respect different opinions: You’re absolutely welcome to challenge someone’s views, ask questions and explain why you disagree. However, shouting matches, hostility and personal insults aren’t welcome. If someone else’s opinion makes you see red, this might not be the club for you! 😅 Debate the opinion, not the person. 🗣️ Let people finish: It’s natural to jump in sometimes and interject, but please be mindful of interrupting. Everyone deserves the chance to finish their point and be heard. 🚪Leave whenever you want or feel free to stay longer after it finishes for a more relaxed vibe and chat 🍺 Drink responsibly: Feel free to enjoy a drink or two, but please remember this is a discussion club, not a night to get drunk and disorderly!
