About This Event

Cycle hire at Wallington offers families the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings of Newcastle together. Running on selected dates, adults and children can enjoy two hours of cycling on a range of bikes, including adult and child sized options. With affordable hire prices, it's a great way to spend quality time outdoors during the weekends and school holidays. Admission is required to participate in this enjoyable activity.

The service will operate on weekends and every day during local school holidays from 10am to 4.30pm, with the last hire at 3.30pm. The cycle hire will be available at Wallington in Newcastle from 5 September to 1 November 2026.

The prices for 2 hours hire are as follows: Adult sized bikes cost £14, child sized bikes cost £9, electric bikes cost £22, balance bikes cost £3, trailer costs £8, recumbent trike costs £14, trike costs £14, and helmets are free. Age and height/weight restrictions apply to electric bikes, trailer, and trike, respectively.
