Demi Marriner

About This Event

Demi Marriner is one of the UK's most exciting Americana and country artists, celebrated for her soulful vocals, compelling songwriting and electrifying live performances. She has established herself as a leading figure in the UK roots scene, connecting with audiences through songs that blend emotional honesty, rich melodies and powerful storytelling. One of the brightest stars on the ever-expanding UK Americana and country scene, Demi Marriner has quietly become one of British roots music's most respected and admired performers. Drawing inspiration from the great American singer-songwriters while retaining a distinctly British identity, her music blends country, Americana, blues, soul and folk into something deeply personal and emotionally compelling. Every lyric feels lived, every melody purposeful, and every performance delivered with the conviction of an artist who believes every word she sings. Winner of the Bob Harris Emerging Artist of the Year award at the UK Americana Awards in 2021, Demi has continued to build a reputation as an artist whose music transcends genre boundaries while remaining firmly rooted in authenticity and craftsmanship and her live show showcases that in all of its glory!  Her debut album, The Things We Didn't Say, marked a defining moment in her career, earning widespread critical acclaim and leading to a sell-out UK tour with her band. She followed this with The Things I Said in 2025 - the second instalment in a planned trilogy of records - that continues to showcase her growth as both a songwriter and performer. A mature, vulnerable and expertly crafted performance of new material. The final chapter is currently in development, further cementing her reputation as one of the most exciting artists working in UK Americana today.  A seasoned live performer, Demi has toured extensively throughout the UK and beyond, sharing stages with artists including Elles Bailey, Ferris & Sylvester, Sam Outlaw, Dom Martin, Jarrod Dickenson, The Wandering Hearts, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Wildwood Kin. She has also appeared at major festivals including Glastonbury, Black Deer, HebCelt, Cropredy and Beautiful Days.  Alongside her solo career, Demi is a key member of Elles Bailey's chart-topping band and co-founder of the successful Girls Night In Tour, a platform dedicated to championing female artists across the UK country and Americana community.
