Davon Bryant-Mason, aka dreamcastmoe, is a DC-based singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ known for his genre-blurring fusion of R&B, funk, soul, hip-hop, and electronic music. Rooted in the vibrant culture of his hometown, his music reflects the complexity of the city’s rhythms and his own life experiences. From his early SoundCloud days to his acclaimed 2022 debut on Ghostly International’s Spectral Sound, Sound Is Like Water, dreamcastmoe has gained recognition for his soulful storytelling and versatility. Described by Resident Advisor as "soulful, cross-genre dance music," his work has taken him to global stages, from Berlin’s Berghain to tours with FKJ and NEIL FRANCES, and has made him a sought-after collaborator with artists like Makèz, Sirens of Lesbos, and Black Rave Culture.

A natural performer with a DJ’s knack for live energy, dreamcastmoe’s projects are as dynamic as his sound. Whether honoring his roots with the heartfelt Molly’s Son EP or showcasing his slow-jam finesse on singles like "Next 2 Me," he explores themes of growth, resilience, and joy. His voice—equally adept at falsetto crooning or swaggering talk-rap—ties his eclectic influences into a cohesive vision. For dreamcastmoe, music is both personal and communal, a reflection of his DC heritage and a platform for pushing boundaries while staying grounded in empathy and authenticity.
