Conjure up creepy characters, mischievous monsters and spooky stories, then bring them to life through illustration!

Get creative this Halloween with illustrator Jim Spendlove (https://jimspendlove.com/).

Join us for a relaxed drawing session at 237east (https://www.instagram.com/237east/?hl=en) where we'll be creating our very own Halloween-inspired comic book panels. Conjure up creepy characters, mischievous monsters and spooky stories, then bring them to life through illustration!

Whether you're a seasoned doodler or just fancy giving it a go, everyone is welcome. All you need is a little imagination.

Grab your free spot (so we know how many to expect) and don’t forget to follow the Mischief (https://www.instagram.com/mischief_ne) social media for any updates!

About Mischief

Mischief (https://www.instagram.com/mischief_ne) is Newcastle’s illustrators community, proudly supported by the AOI. We’re building a welcoming space for artists and illustrators to connect, collaborate and inspire one another. The meet ups are organised and hosted by Carl Wilson (https://www.instagram.com/bybooboo) and Jim Spendlove (https://jimspendlove.com/) but our long-term vision is to grow a passionate team to help run future events together!

We’re creating a home for:

Masterclasses & workshops

Collaborative projects

Inspiring talks & guest speakers

Drink, draw (and slices!) socials

Learning new skills & meeting new pals

Accessibility

The AOI would like to make events accessible to all, where possible. Please let us know your access requirements at least one week in advance by emailing info@theaoi.com
