About This Event

Kick off your Hybrid Games weekend with us at our official Newcastle Shakeout Run. Join the Hybrid Games community, alongside Lydia Huntley and Ross Spalding, for an easy, social 5K around Newcastle before race weekend gets underway. We’ll meet outside the Utilita Arena at 6pm, before heading out along the riverside and taking in some of Newcastle’s most iconic landmarks, including the Swing Bridge and Millennium Bridge. This is not a race. The pace will be relaxed and conversational and the run is open to all abilities. Whether you’re racing over the weekend, supporting someone, or simply want to come down and be part of the community, you’re welcome.
