Join us for a relaxed festive get‑together for SEN parents, carers, family, friends and professionals.

A Christmas night out, just a little different.

Following the huge success of the Launch event we are delighted to announce the first of our line up of Christmas events. This is our adults-only Christmas social.

A chance to meet others, chat, unwind, and enjoy a few drinks in a friendly, pressure‑free environment.

We’ll have our own dedicated space at Freight Island in Newcastle, with food vendors available if you’d like to eat. No big party, no expectations, just a calm space to connect with people who totally get it.

Want to come alone, but feeling nervous? Want to know who else is coming along that you might have things in common with? We’ve got you. We are going to set up a “pre meet and greet”, an online group where you can see everyone who is attending (if they're happy to join the group), and chat beforehand, just so that people feel more comfortable.

Tickets are donation only, so any donation you make will go towards future events and activities within our SEN community.

Everyone is welcome - SEN parents, carers, family, friends, those on the pathway, those who want to find out more, those who work in the SEN community. It's an informal way of meeting others and getting into the Christmas spirit.

Our event is inclusive meaning...

There is no pressure to stay for the whole event

You're welcome or leave whenever you like

The event is judgement free and informal

Feel free to come alone - many people are likely to

If you'd like to come then please please please signup ASAP so we can get a sense of numbers, this will then allow our friends at Freight Island to book us the most appropriate sized space for our get together.

If there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable in attending the event then please get in touch and let us know.

We can't wait to see you all there.
