About This Event

Queers of the North is hosting its first ever Christmas party. Join us for a night of festive cabaret, games, music, and connection. Christmas is around the corner, and Queers of the North is hosting its first ever Christmas party. Join us for an evening focused on LGBTQIA+ connection with festive cabaret from local drag performers Phoebe LaReine and Big Lil, games (such as bingo). We'll have a food vendor at the venue, and there'll be a mix of non-alcholic and non-alcholic options at the bar. The theme? Christmas Characters! In line with our event name, taking inspiration from the cult classic that is Love Actually, we'd love it if you'd dress up as your favourite festive character. Take inspiration from Christmas movies, books, TV shows, or any niche you find suitable. There'll be a prize for the best dressed of the night! No pressure! While we'd love everyone to dress up, there's zero-pressure. Come as you find comfy! Queers of the North is a registered Community Interest Company, and all profits made from this event will be reinvested into running of the organisation.
