Come with me to watch Wicker on opening night. (See film description below) let’s meet at costa right next to the cinema at 5.30, chill and chat for a bit before the film starts. Will post seating info in event chat. Romcoms are usually not my thing but I love the old world fantasy vibes look of this and it seems pretty funny! Directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson, Wicker (2026) is a romantic fantasy comedy based on Ursula Wills-Jones's short story "The Wicker Husband". An ostracized fisherwoman (Olivia Colman) commissions a local basket maker (Peter Dinklage) to weave her a husband (Alexander Skarsgård). When the wicker creation comes to life, his unexpected devotion and charm ignite jealousy and chaos in their traditional village.
