The NE's first festival celebrating the mighty sandwich! Some of the region's best sandwich slingers together for a daylong party

A free, daylong party celebrating the mighty sandwich! Featuring some of the best sandwich slingers in the region, side-by-side, offering you the chance to try their signature sandwiches all in one place!

Featuring: Lita, Handsome Sandwich, Cubanos, Andres, Lubber Kitchen, Cafe Ngon and Belly Of The Beast.

Alongside the sandwiches there will be a fully stocked bar to keep you refreshed.

Also - "The Bake Sale Of Dreams" - not your average village fair bake sale! Fresh cakes and bakes contributed by the local community and some very special guest contributions.... all proceeds will go to support WERS and FoodCycle.

Angus of Newcastle Cocktail Kitchen will be running a sandwich-themed, pop-up cocktail bar.

PANNA will be there selling their artisan gelato from their vintage icecream cart

The soundtrack for the day will be provided by Newcastle's very own Slack's Radio. A live, eclectic, curated selection of the weird and wonderful, providing the perfect musical accompaniment to your day.

There will be activities and workshops by Suzie Winsor Studio for kids and attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and hang out for the day on the bowling green

All of the day's action will be documented by Taste Bridges - the NE's finest food zine

The whole event is totally free and is family and dog friendly.
