Join us at Barnes Park, Sunderland, on Friday 30th October 2026 for a huge evening of fireworks, flames, live entertainment, Halloween fun and TWO spectacular firework displays – all included with one ticket. ✨ TWO FIREWORK DISPLAYS – ONE TICKET! ✨ Spellbound – 6:00pm Our earlier lower-noise, family-friendly firework display , designed especially for younger families. Expect magical colours, music and flames, with reduced noise levels compared with a traditional display. 🔥 Afterglow – 8:00pm The big one! A more intense firework spectacular featuring bigger effects, more fireworks, more flames and an unforgettable finale to light up the night sky. 🎤 K-POP DEMON HUNTERS ARE BACK! After proving hugely popular last year, the K-Pop Demon Hunters return for 2026 – with more characters, more performances and even more entertainment throughout the evening. Expect a bigger presence across the event, with plenty of opportunities to see your favourite characters and enjoy the music, performances and atmosphere. For 2026, Spellbound and Afterglow are back , alongside an expanded entertainment programme and even more K-Pop Demon Hunters characters and performances. Two firework displays. One ticket. Our firework displays are delivered by the award-winning Reaction Fireworks team , responsible for major displays across the region and the spectacular weekly firework shows at Kynren. Book early to avoid disappointment. OPENING TIMES Gates open: 4:00pm Spellbound Fireworks: approximately 6:00pm Afterglow Fireworks: approximately 8:00pm Last entry: 8:00pm Event closes: 9:30pm TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY All tickets are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions. Purchase and use of a ticket to enter the event is considered acceptance of these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the ticket purchaser and any person for whom tickets have been purchased. Ticket Purchase Tickets are not exchangeable, refundable or transferable. Resale or attempted resale is not permitted. You will need to present a valid ticket at the entrance to gain admission. Tickets may be invalidated if any part of them is removed, defaced or altered. Tickets are not issued on a sale-or-return basis and refunds will not be provided for unused tickets. Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced or reissued, even where proof of purchase can be provided. Your ticket remains your responsibility. Event Field This is an outdoor event and no refunds will be given due to inclement weather . Although the event area is generally accessible, parts of Barnes Park may become wet, muddy or uneven during poor weather. Visitors should wear suitable footwear and clothing and take appropriate care when moving around the site. You enter the event and venue at your own risk. General Event Information During the event, visitors must remain within designated public areas and follow instructions given by event staff, security personnel and official signage. The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour is considered likely to cause injury, damage, nuisance, annoyance or disruption. Intoxication, aggressive behaviour and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone removed from the event will not be readmitted and no refund will be issued. By entering the event, you acknowledge that official photography and filming may take place. Images and footage may be used by the organisers for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. Live entertainment, funfair rides and other activities will take place throughout the evening. The event closes at 9:30pm . What is the difference between Spellbound and Afterglow? Spellbound is our earlier lower-noise, family-friendly display , aimed particularly at younger families. Afterglow is our larger and more intense evening display, featuring bigger effects, additional flames and a stronger finale. Are K-Pop Demon Hunters appearing again? Yes. Following their popularity last year, they are returning for 2026 with more characters, more performances and more entertainment throughout the evening . Will there be food available? Yes. There will be a wide variety of food outlets selling hot food, snacks and refreshments. Is there a bar? No. This is a family event and there will be no alcohol for sale . Alcohol brought into the event may be confiscated. Is car parking available? We strongly recommend using public transport or normal city centre parking as the area around Barnes Park is expected to be extremely busy. A limited number of spaces may be available for valid Blue Badge holders. Please contact the organisers for further information. Will there be entertainment? Yes. Alongside both firework displays there will be K-Pop Demon Hunters, live music, stage entertainment, flame shows, walkabout performers, funfair rides and a fancy dress competition . Can I pay on the night? We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Last year’s event sold out , so tickets may not be available on the night. Can I get a refund? Tickets are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled by the organisers, ticket holders will be contacted regarding the options available. Are dogs allowed? No. Dogs are not permitted within the event. Can I bring sparklers or my own fireworks? No. Sparklers, personal fireworks and other pyrotechnic items are strictly prohibited and may be confiscated. Will there be photography or filming? Yes. Official photographers and videographers will be capturing the event. By entering, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs or video footage used for future promotional purposes.
